TEA BLENDER / TEA BULKER / TEA MIXER

Two different types of Tea Blending Machines (or Tea Bulking Machines, or Tea Mixing Machines) are available. Both types of Blenders are suitable for Tea, or any other dry and free-flowing powders, granules, flakes, grains, seeds, etc.

Either type of Tea Blending Systems can be integrated with a Tea Batch Blending System and / or a Tea Cleaning System to work all in one continuous line.

The Batch Blending System is capable of repeating several identical batches to make up a very large heterogeneous batch.

Drum type Horizontal Rotary Tea Blending Machine

  • This Drum type Tea Blending System is of an ultra-modern design, which gently blends batches of ingredients with 100% uniformity in about three minutes, the fastest cycle times, gentle product handling, the lowest energy consumption per Kg. of blended product per hour, and evacuates 100% of the batch with no segregation of blended products.
  • The Drum handles materials with high bulk densities. The rotating Drum features mixing flights that tumble, turn, and fold material gently while achieving total uniformity in about 2 to 3 minutes, regardless of disparities in bulk densities, particle size, or flow characteristics.
  • Unlike stationary mixing or blending units that leave some residual material after discharge, the rotating Drum and internal flights of the rotary Drum lifts and directs the entire batch into the discharge spout for complete evacuation with no residual material for manual intervention, thereby improving product quality and process control.
  • Working capacities from one to 10 Cubic Meters per batch available.
  • Suitable for any type of Orthodox, or CTC type of Teas including the very large Leaf Orthodox OPA, OP and OP1 Grade Leaf Teas.
  • Offers far greater degree of uniformity of mix, when compared to the traditional / conventional manual blending of Teas on the floor.
  • Offers far less breakage of Tea particles, when compared to the traditional / conventional manual blending of Teas on the floor.
  • Offers far less greying of Tea particles (or loss of Bloom), when compared to the traditional / conventional manual blending of Teas on the floor.
  • This Drum type Tea Blender is virtually Dust-Proof and needs no Tea Dust Collection for itself (irrespective of the type, or grade of Tea being blended). Tea Dust Collection may be needed for other parts of the Tea Blending System incorporating the Drum type Tea Blending Machine, depending upon the type, or grade of Tea being blended.
  • An option of Stainless Steel Contact Parts is available with this Drum type Tea Blending Plant.

Tower type Vertical Static Tea Blending Machine

  • Working capacities from 10 to 30 Cubic Meters per batch available.
  • Suitable for all grades of CTC Teas and small Leaf, Fannings and Dust type of Orthodox Teas. This Tower type Tea Blending System is not suitable for the very long Leaf Sri Lankan Orthodox OPA, OP1 and OP Grade Leaf Teas.
  • This Tower type Tea Blender offers lowest Capital Investment, Power Consumption, Man-Power and Energy requirement per Ton of installed capacity, when compared to any other type of Tea Blending Systems.
  • An option of Stainless Steel Contact Parts is available with this Tower type Tea Blending Plant.

Additional Options

TEA BATCH BLENDING SYSTEM

A Tea Batch Blending Plant that can repeatedly produce identical blended batches can be integrated with either type of Blending Systems, such that the two units work together in one continuous line. This integrated Tea Batch Blending Machine is suitable for batching not only all types and grades of Tea, but also with any other dry and free-flowing powders, granules, grains, seeds, etc.

TEA CLEANING MACHINE

Tea Cleaning Plants are available for separating and removing common heavy impurities found in Tea like Sand, Stones, Plastic, Glass, all kinds of small & large Tramp Metal pieces like, Brass, Copper, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, etc., Iron and Rust powder and light impurities like Dust, Tea Fluff, Jute & Cotton Fibres, Human Hair, etc. The Tea Cleaning System employs Air Aspiration and is completely different from the conventional mechanical De-Stoners commonly used in the Food Grain and Seed trade. It is possible to have either an independent stand alone Tea Cleaning System comprising of a De-Stoner cum De-Duster or De-Stoner only or a Tea Cleaning System integrated with either type of Tea Blending Systems such that the two Systems work together in one continuous line. Similarly, a Tea Batch Blending System together with a Tea Cleaning System can be integrated with either type of Tea Blending Systems such that the three Systems are integrated and work together all in one continuous line.

TEA FLAVOURING MACHINE

World-class Tea Flavouring Plants, employing Stainless Steel Contact Parts, suitable for applying Liquid Flavours on to Tea, or any other such dry and free-flowing powders, granules, grains, etc., are available in any capacity.

BULK DENSITY METER

Two different models of Bulk Density Meters (or Tap Density Tester, or Tamping Density Volumeter) are available to measure the Bulk Density of Teas or any dry free-flowing and non-fluffy Powders, Granules, Flakes, Grains, Seeds, etc. One model namely, BDM 5003 is a popular economy model, while the other model, namely, BDM 2503 is a more sophisticated model confirming to ISO and ASTM standards.
